Keine „Deadline“ für Karim Adeyemi: Spielt Saison bei RB Salzburg zu Ende

Umworbener Salzburg-Profi

Der von mehreren Top-Klubs umworbene Offensivspieler Karim Adeyemi will die Saison bei Red Bull Salzburg zu Ende spielen. „Mein Kopf ist hier in Salzburg. Ich möchte mit Salzburg unsere Ziele erreichen, nur das ist alles, was für mich zählt“, sagte der U21-Europameister am Samstagabend beim TV-Sender „Sky Sport Austria“. „Mir steht gerade rot und weiß ganz gut. Ich fühle mich hier wohl und genieße den Moment. Mein Kopf ist immer noch hier, und eine Deadline gibt es auf jeden Fall nicht“, fügte Adeyemi hinzu.

Der 19-Jährige hat in Salzburg noch einen Kontrakt bis 2024. Salzburg-Sportdirektor Christoph Freund unterstrich, dass auch im kommenden Winter kein Transfer mehr erfolgen werde. „Wir haben keinen Stress und haben mit ihm einen längerfristigen Vertrag. Es ist auch abgesprochen, dass diese Saison nichts mehr passieren wird. Dass er interessant ist, brauchen wir nicht von der Hand weisen.“

Der in München geborene Adeyemi hatte am 5. September im Heimspiel gegen Armenien sein Länderspiel-Debüt gegeben und mit seinem Tor zum 6:0 seinen ersten Länderspieltreffer erzielt. Paris Saint-Germain, der FC Liverpool sowie Borussia Dortmund und der FC Bayern München sollen an dem Angreifer interessiert sein.
